Hello, yellow!

 

My name is Ilinca, aka Ili, and I have been a kindergarten teacher for five years. I’m 27 and I live in the cold capital of Finland, Helsinki. To be honest, I have always wanted to teach, but not necessarily kindergarten. I had my first bachelor degree in English and Finnish and my master degree in British Cultural Studies. Back then I wanted to teach English in primary or secondary school. It was by luck that I ended up working in a kindergarten, and now I wouldn’t change it for anything in the world!

Of course, when I first started teaching, I felt a bit overwhelmed…I needed to get more organized and learn a lot in a short time. I couldn’t have managed without Alina, my dear colleague and friend, and all the teachers and moms who had blogs and sites. I’m truly thankful for that and I hope that I can help someone else by writing this blog.
